Sunglasses Repair
My favorite Sunglasses with a thin mirror coating have been scratched! =[. Is there any way I can repair?
The mirror coating is on the outside surface. I kinda consider them “lucky”. I really just would like to avoid buying another pair.
Unless you have Metal Vapor Deposition equipment, you will have to buy a new pair.
That coating is made by heating metal until it’s vapor and getting it to stick to the Sunglass lens.
You can’t do it at home.
