Fake Dolce And Gabbana Sunglasses
Are knock-offs allowed to be sold?
I been to hundreds of malls and some people have stands selling knock-off(fake) stuff. This one man had a sign he was selling Dolce and Gabbana Sunglasses 2/$20. These were fake because i asked him. Right behind him was a designer Sunglasses Store selling similiar ones for $400. I’m really confused. Is selling knock-off products allowed?If not, then there are so many people selling fake stuff openly and aren’t getting into trouble.
They would not be legal and could be confiscated if they infringe on a patent or copyright.
There is of course a huge market for these knockoffs, fakes, counterfeits, Gucci, Rolex, or whatever-inspired, pirated accessories for people who can’t afford elite labels and have no qualms about going pseudo.
The fact is, replicators only need to make slight alterations to the originals’ designs in order to be protected from any legal action or recourse against them.
