Cat Eye Sunglasses
Do you hate having to explain yourself to people?
I’m not talking about explaining why you’re standing in the bathroom with a bloody knife, but little stupid things. Like if I’m wearing Sunglasses and a cat in the hat style hat indoors or something. Someone always wants to know why, “Are your eyes hurting?” Why can’t I just do things for no reason?
Do you live with people like that who always want to know why you’re doing something? I think it makes me uncomfortable around other people because I always feel like I have to explain myself to strangers. How can I deal with this?
Is it rude to not explain myself when doing odd things that aren’t hurting anyone? Because the ensuing excuse or reason is either “No reason, leave me alone.” (which is brief and seen as rude I suppose) or something so elaborate that I just don’t want to waste my time explaining!
Ugh, I know exactly what you’re talking about. The way I deal with people who just enjoy to ask annoying questions like “why do you have gloves on inside?” is I guess to be a tad rude. I mean eventually people will catch on that you don’t want to elaborate on such stupid questions. Just give a really short sentence made up of a few words or just ignore them. Unfortunatly, we live in a world filled with not so intelligent people who love to state the obvious and bother others with those types of questions.
